Learning Theology is experiencing God. It is actually not a series of subjects that we learn, but rather a mystery which God graciously reveals to those who thirst to know him better and deeper. Foundation Level One includes basic opportunities to immerse oneself in Introductions to Catholic Theology, a general introduction to the Bible, to Divine Revelation, to One God, to Evangelization in the Bible and to a Theology of Social Communication.

Exposing oneself to a theological experience academically demands that one covers several aspects substantially. They include important aspects of Dogmatic Theology, a basic understanding of Sacred Scripture and Pastoral Theology. In this level Sacred Scripture Modules such as Genesis and Exodus and an Introduction to the Synoptic Gospels are made available. In addition, an Introduction to Ecclesiology, an Introduction to Sacred Liturgy and the Sacraments, and finally an Introduction to the Catechism of the Catholic Church also form part of this level.

When the seeker reaches the Intermediate Level, the God-experience which has already begun becomes a solid spiritual formation for him or for her. Theology should not be subjects that pile up God-information; but rather a formation experience that is life-transforming. In this level the student is able to expose himself or herself to a comprehensive introduction to Spiritual Theology, Pauline Epistles, Sin and Grace, Prophetic Literature, an Introduction to the Holy Eucharist and a Catholic Perspective of Modern Psychology.

The final level of theological experience exposes the student to seven modules. A deeper understanding of Christology, an Introduction to the Fourth Gospel, an Introduction to Canon Law, an Introduction to Mariology, an Introduction to Pastoral Theology, an Introduction to Moral Theology and a Catholic Perspective of Anthropology. Reaching this level of a theological experience actually should entice the seeker to go deeper and farther. Learning theology actually does not come to an end; it is a continuing experience because God firmly resides in the seeker’s life and his or her personal salvation history transforms from a kronos to a Kairos.
